Our Shipping Information

Age Requirement

The purchase of alcohol by persons under the age of 21 is prohibited by law. You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase wine or spirits. By placing an order through our website, you are representing yourself to us as at least 21 years of age. We reserve the right to ask for proof of identity before processing an order. An adult (over the age of 21) signature with proof of age verification is required at time of delivery. Please be aware that someone over the age of 21 must be available to sign for the package. If no one is available at the time of delivery, the package will not be left. We cannot ship wine to PO Boxes or APO addresses.

 

Carrier and Delivery Times

We use FedEx as our main shipper of alcoholic beverages. All orders will be processed within 1 business day. We will contact you by the end of the next business day if there are any problems with your order. You will be promptly notified by e-mail of any unexpected delays in processing and/or shipping. During times of bad weather (including excessive heat or cold), we recommend using Next Day shipping to avoid spoilage.

 

Shipping Notes

An adult signature (over the age of 21) with proof of age verification is required for delivery.  Any request made to leave a package without the signature will be ignored, and no exceptions will be made.  FedEx will attempt to deliver your package and obtain the adult signature for 3 consecutive business days. If you are unable to sign for your wine at the time of delivery you can arrange to pick up you package at your local FedEx facility. FedEx will typically hold a package for 5 business days for will-call pickup.  Please be certain the address is correct and the receiver of the package will be able to sign for the shipment.  Please note, all shipping charges are nonrefundable if packages are returned due to incorrect addresses or unavailable receivers (in both cases FedEx will contact the receiver/sender to remedy the situation, it is the reasonability of the receiver to provide the correct shipping address and sign for the package). There will also be a re-shipping fee if the package needs to be reshipped or a change of address must be made.

 

Card Not Present Shipping Disclosure

Michigan Liquors, LLC ships via a leading provider that has established relevant age verification controls and obtains an adult signature 21+ upon delivery. Currently we cannot ship to Alabama, Delaware, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Vermont. 

The purchases of liquor/beer/spirits must be made by someone 21+ years of age. Wine Fetch (contracted by Michigan Liquors) has policies in place that will not allow purchases of someone under 21 years of age. The website collects date of birth for every purchase of Liquor/beer/Spirits made on our website. If the date of birth is not above 21 years of age the transaction will stop. The purchaser must be 21 years or older to purchase.


 

Delivery within Washington, DC

We are currently offering Next Day delivery service in Washington, DC. Fee is determined based on distance from Michigan Liquors.


 

Billing Information

Orders placed on this website are not final. Your credit card is not charged automatically. A charge is put on your credit card after the product has been packed and the order is deemed complete. Please note that all credit cards are verified. You must provide a billing address that corresponds to the credit card you are using. If the billing address does not match the credit card you will be informed and the order will not be processed until we hear from you.

 

Shipping and Handling Costs

The shipping costs are automatically calculated at the time the order is placed. If you would like to know the shipping cost to a particular area, please select your items and enter your zip code in the shopping cart. Prices of our wines do not include shipping/handling charges, which vary depending on destination, number of bottles ordered and choice of delivery options.

 

In-Store Pickup

Orders normally take up to 24 hours to process. We will send an email confirmation once the order is ready for pick-up.
